Roller Derby

A Roller Derby bout is a series of races called 'jams' between two teams of five players.  Each team has a jammer, who scores points by passing members of the opposing team, three blockers, who try and stop the other team's jammer and help their own jammer forward, plus a pivot, who acts as a pace setter to control the speed of the pack.

Roller Derby is a great way to get fit, make friends and have fun at the same time.  Roller Derby is also a great spectating sport so why not find your local roller derby and see what your missing out on.
